Strontium

strontium is softer than calcium and decomposes in water more faster . Freshly cut's strontium has a silvery apprtance, but rapidly turns a yellowish color with the formation of the oxide. they finely divided mental ignites( to heat up) spontaneously in the air. Volatile ( changeable) strontium salts impart(to give) an excellent color to flames, and these salts are used in pyrotchinic.

The orange/ yellow color makes up from sodium chloried. the green color is made from barium chlorate and the blue color made from copper(I) chloride. the lilac colors, all of whitch are more. if not done right, the reaction is very DANGEROUS!
